Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Today, at work, I got to celebrate my company's 60th anniversary!! It was so much fun promoting and pushing free slurpees. It was my way to combat depression. It made me happy to see people's faces light up with excitement and walk out cheerful about the little things in life, such as a small 'free' slurpee that made a whopping difference!
Notice, I titled this post 'Different tune' because I hope this helps someone else defeat depression as they read. We need to read positive notes.
And if you're anything like me, defeating daily chronic depression in your best, KUDOS to you!! It's hard not to feel depressed or sad once you've been far stretched there, but it is possible to work through it and still be victoriously happy with yourself.
Especially when you and I know I AM is not the problem. I am aligned with I AM, and I am is not the problem. Therefore, "I am not the problem, and not my problem" is my mantra. Henceforth, the problem needs self-correction.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I'm glad that you had a lovely day
Giving is receiving...smile...xo
I also turn my mind around by singing a different tune. Which means stopping my rumination and depression and doing something positive for myself or someone else. I got this little cross at Hobby Lobby a few days ago.
"The Los has done great things for us and we are filled with joy." Psalm 126.3. I want to remind myself to choose joy today and thank God the great I AM.
