Depressive episode

so once again I have fallen into what feels like a never ending depressive episode. However this one I feel nothing but at the same time I am in so much deep emotional pain. My mind goes dark places and it seems no matter what I do i can not get outta it. I'm not sleeping. I am having a hard time eating. I can barely get out of bed to get to school and I feel like world crashing down and it's going down fast like a bolt of lightning. I need words of advice or wisdom, the path my mind is going in rn is not a good one and I can't get out of this myself. I have talked to a therapist and this has not helped me. I need any advice any of you guys can give...

How old are you? You may be suffering from clinical depression. I was diagnosed with it at age 15, after my therapist said she didn't know how else she could help me, I may need medication. I would say the next step would be to get evaluated by a psychiatrist, and they may be better qualified to evaluate you and recommend medication, if needed. I know it can be intimidating, but depression is a real condition that should be treated seriously and with compassion. Please reach out and make an appointment. That is the most valuable advice I can give to you. Don't waste time with depression.

I am 16 years old. I have seen multiple therapists and none of them have clicked and I feel like I'm unable to get out of this.

Ok, so the next step is to find a psychiatrist and make an appointment. Will your parents back you on that?
