Just remember, almost everybody could have a psychiatric diagnosis all the time, if someone just went looking. Call it ignorance and let it go.

I think everyone has an issue they could benefit from a little counseling but are afraid to admit it. If they ignore it then it isn't there. Well when they are faced with someone that may have some of the same issues then they can't deal with it.
THey also don't want to put the effort into having an awesome relationship. They just want to pick up a relationship like it comes off a shelf. I just think if you just jump and talk, There is no need to mention on the site that there have been issues. WHen things get going on a relationship then you and discuss it if it comes up.
Just be a calm and collected you.

I hate that ignorance. Those people are clearly uneducated on the issue of mental illness. There are plenty of people out there who are mature enough to cope with someone else's problems and I'm sure you'll find one.

I dated a wonderful girl for over a year who I told about my depression and suicidal thoughts after only meeting her a few times. She was so supportive. Even when I cheated on her and she was so hurt and mad at me she sat their and held me while I had a panic attack.

You're not a monster, or undatable. You're just like everyone else. Everyone brings baggage into relationships. Sometimes I think depressed people are the least crazy because at least they can own up to the way they're feeling.
