Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Your question is a good one, and depression and fatigue certainly do go hand-in-hand. It's only natural that given your husband's injury and the other realities that you describe above that you'd be feeling more tired than usual. Not only are you physically drained, but emotionally.
Remember to try to nurture yourself during this difficult time. It may be something as simple as candles around the bathtub as you bath with calm, soothing music playing.
One suggestion regarding the hotel situation. Have you mentioned that your husband is in hospital? So long as you can provide proof (i.e. a note from the doctor or even his primary nurse) many hoteliers will offer discounted prices off of their regular rack price.
Hugs and all the best to you and your hubby.
