these last couple of weeks really been struggling with my depression just want to shut people out and keep to myself. I feel hopeless, tired of hurting , wishing that this could just stop all together. I dont have a support system so it's really hard on me on top of stress just everything is so much on me

But that how I'm feeling where I want to shut people out and so I can be alone, then top of my negative thoughts it's gets to the point it drives me crazy because what it tells me I'm trying to avoid but then I want my pain to go away.

I've hit a rut too. Losing confidence in my ability to work, which is very rare. That worries me big time. I can say though that the ruts do pass. It is just a pain in the pass minus the p waiting for it to fade away so I feel hopeful again and well again. I did notice a cloud of negativity take over and I've been trying to counter that with thinking positive thoughts rather than gloom and doom. I need to keep reminding myself that every day is a chance to do something different. To change a habit or whatever. I hope you get over this painful hump.

crawling into bed and pretending to be dead for a couple of days is always good. bed is underrated. It's safe there. Nothing bad happens there. You can lie there till your mind winds down and you start to feel okay again.

I see her everywhere. In my car, at the door, under my desk, the neighborhood. I want to hold her and kiss her so...

I lost my dog last July to cancer, as some of you might remember. It was devastating and I got very depressed, but through treatment I got back to "my normal" last month. I've been poking around the rescue sites to adopt a dog and I've seen a few since July and I visited them but decided I wasn't ready. I actually adopted one in September but realized I was too depressed and it was a mistake so I...
