Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Eventually, over time, you will feel better. You are lucky to have your kids to help you get through it, they give you life great purpose, and I know that they love you. :) Many huggs sweetheart, feel better soon.

Anyone know the other one?
I've heard of the 5 steps.
Would like to know if anyone can recommend a herbal remedy for depression as I can't take anti depressants.
Thank you all for your support, I appreciate it a lot.

There is no real set order to them. We can move back and forth between the stages. For example we may be doing OK on the acceptance, then something new hits us and we are back being angry.
I googled this, and got some hits that talk about 5 stages, and some talk about 7 stages. The differences seem to be a bit of bundling stages differently and the addition of Guilt, upward changes and reconstruction.
There is no way that your 3 and 6 year olds can process the emotions you are feeling, so you will need to find other places to do this. You can tell your children that each of you will react differently, and STRESS to your children that they are not responsible for making you feel better, but it is your job to help them feel better.
Gentle hugs
