I feel a sense of....less alone in my heart when I read everyone stories. It's nice to be reminded that we're not as alone as we feel sometimes..... I dunno.
Whats been popping onto my head a lot lately, when Im feeling all kinds of horrible things. Is that saying.... Give to someone else what you need or want. If u want love, give love to someone else. If u want a friend, be a friend for someone who needs a friend. It's like the very act of doing that switches your path into a more positive path.
I'm sad that you are struggling, and it hurts that your daughter is suffering from thoughts of abuse. I imagine that your mother is nervous about it. However, letting loose the news will help your daughter to feel some adult security now. But, hey! Let me inch back and ask you what is the plan to get her in treatment as well. I note that you mention you are in addiction treatment, and this is a brave feat for you. I might add that your husband has to be held accountable for his mistakes and filing abuse charges should be considered in this matter; she is a minor and parental responsibilities are necessary.
