Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
As far as being shy, I understand that. I've gotten better over the years but don't have to be around people as much anymore... when i was in school and had to be around people it was pretty bad. Just remember, no one is unlovable and i'm more than sure you're no exception, also, everyone is going through or has gone through struggles in their lives that you'll never know about and many times others perspective is much different than we realize, especially when we're feeling especially bad about ourselves.
message me if you need to talk.

But to feel suicidal in my dreams? Never. I suffer severe self esteem but I thought I was building it back up. I am very happily married now and he is great about my anxiety.
My daughter sent me a text shortly after I woke up thus a.m. asking me how I was. It then came out that she had nightmares last night . she is 17 and was in hospital once for a few hours having a panic attack at a friends house and she passed out. She had one several years ago in the car and I called 911 as she passed out. Both times were determined that they were panic attacks.
Sorry got off the topic here. I think I'm going back for more therapy . these dreams remain vivid and I'm afraid what I might do/become if I keep letting it go. If it was just the odd time I think I could handle it. Right now I just feel unlovable and I don't want to get more depressed than I already am. I am on antidepressants. That has helped keep the panic to a more manageable level on day to day stuff.
I really appreciate your answers. Thanks so much. Even if you don't feel you can help just responding here helps so much!! I'm going to have to remember that.
