Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Mine went away at 24 after my first child was born, ebbed away. Still have vestiges but nothing noticeable or interfering. I was blessed, but depression, that's another matter and still have other anxiety disorders.
Peace to you.
I've been remarried 17 years to someone who is understanding. Ex husband could barely make it through my postpartum depression. I wish him and his new life well, however.
Being in the support group here is especially crucial if our close friends and families are ambivalent.
In my case, my husband still doesn't really have a clue about my Depress/Anxiety., but he tries.
Let us know how things are going, We care!

Don't be afraid. You are on a vacation which is great. Change is good. Although scary it can really be a good thing especially when it is needed.
Try not to get lost in your own head and smell the air. Enjoy life.
