I feel depressed. All I want to do is lay in bed and watch t.v. My husband will ask me why are you sad? I don't know what to tell him. We are going on vacation August 6 for 2 weeks. I see my psych in September.

Maybe you need to go sooner. What do you mean you don't know what to tell him? Doesn't he know about your depression?

I don't know why I feel so deeply sad. He wants to know what is the trigger and I don't know.

I am 39 and have had it since about 12 or 13 yrs old. So I know somethings but not everything.

Just would like to help you if I could. There have been many times I haven't had anyone to talk with and that in and of itself does not feel good. I am not sure how this site works well so I am not sure how to get your new messages.

You know i love it when i feel like i can relate to someone, i struggle with depression as well and i get the same feeling. I just want to lay in bed and it's so hard to get out of bed.

Aww…sending you hugs. The causes of depression can be extremely complex. I’m glad you’ve made an appointment to see a doctor. While you may not be able to explain the “why,” I would suggest that you allow your husband to be of help to you in any way he can, even if it’s just to be a listening ear. Remember, you’re not alone. Take good care!

Mental health questions are best asked of a Doctor. Mental health problems are best taken to Doctor. If you are clinically depressed, probably can't do much about it without a Doctor involved.
