I have been reading a Star Wars book that deal a lot with revenge and the need for justice. I am 48 years old and still suffer daily from the aftereffects of what was done to me as a child. You might think that by now I could or should be over it since so much time has passed since the trauma happened, but for me the person was never brought to justice and in fact, their life keeps on getting better and better. I guess I just don't know what to make of things when the victim has to spend their entire life suffering because of the wrongs that were done to them meanwhile the abuser is having a great life. Anyone have any thought on this? I would love to just be at peace with myself and the world but I'm not. Not even close. Thanks for reading this and for your replies!
