Okay, it's my turn to vent, I haven't done it in awhile. I'm trying to get my diabetes under control and move ahead with my life and getting resistance at every turn. I bumped into my answering machine in the hall last night while trying to make my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night and the machine deleted all the messages I had store on it. I thought I was doing better with my diabetes only to have my doctor nag at me that I hadn't reordered any pills lately and that I was risking losing my legs and headed for dialysis because my kidneys are in bad condition. By the time I left his office I was holding in the tears. Why is it when you think you are making progress, someone comes along and makes you feel like shit. I go to Kaiser Permanente and feel like I can trust them less and less. Okay, now I feel better.
My father-in-law has been trying so hard to get his diabetes under control but even now his kidney tests are a bit worrying. You have enough to deal with and your Dr should know this.
