Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Life is hard, there are no arguments for that...And it seems that sometimes family members are the worst because they feel some security in being family. However, you can make the choice to move out of the relationships that pull you down so much. You can decide how your life will go and put boundaries on those other relationships that get you so down. i don't know why you can't get away, but you can start figuring that out. If it's money you need, then start working on that now. Just taking steps in the right direction will help you feel better! Get involved by volunteering somewhere you like, or go to church and reach out for help. Everyone has their own set of troubles and we all need each other to care! Take a few baby steps in that direction...you will feel better! And as far as eating, just be sure you have some quick grab bites that aren't as bad as some food items! I made a "deal" with myself to have to eat an apple first and then i could eat something else. It did help me cut down on so much of the bad food. Also, know you are worthy and blessed! God doesn't make mistakes! There is a plan for you, so get out of your situation and start taking a few steps...Hang in there, prayers for you to feel some peace...
