>>Is there a way to monitor form my computer, what they are watching on the ipod?
No. I don't know much about the IPOD but essentially, they are a music player and (I think) might be able to play video clips. Unlike an Internet device, they cannot access the World Wide Web .. no porn sites, email, etc. Basically, they can only 'play music'.
Are you sure it is an IPOD and not an IPAD? An IPAD is an internet device.
>>Are there any computer securities I can fix?
Not sure what you mean. Do you mean since getting WIFI, is there now something you need to do regarding security?
Not really. You would not need anything more or less than if you did not have WIFI.
However, .. there is 'secured' and 'unsecured' WIFI. You COULD be unsecured, but I doubt it. A person can set up their WIFI where ANYONE who can 'get a signal' can use that WIFI to connect. Some guy could pull up to the curb with a laptop, find your WIFI, and simply begin to use it. That is an unsecured WIFI.
A SECURED WIFI is set up to require what is commonly known as a WEP key .. basically a password. He could see your WIFI is 'available' but could not connect to it withouth the WEP key.
I don't know who set up your WIFI, .. but MOST home WIFI is set up to be secure. If Charter provided the WIFI and either set it up or assisted you in setting it up, odds are it is secure. They would also diligently tell you what your WEP key is. The main point is you probably ARE "secure'.
You do have to have a wep key so that's all good.
I think what I'm going to have to do is take his devise and set up a password myself, and then set parental controls on it. That's what my internet provider suggested. I was just hoping I could do it from my laptop.....streamline it into mine?
Anyway.....I'll figure it out. :) Thanks again!
Here is info on Parental Controls .. from Apple:

There are (probably) Parental Control products (3rd party) which refine the controls listed above.
I recommend Googling:
Parental Controls IPOD TOUCH (or whatever device you are concerned with).
