Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
age 20 is probably enough, but he had lung trouble before thanksgiving and now its back.
he's such a bag of bones, lost lots weight since 2011.
i'll give him the leftover meds, but squirting it down his throat is rough for both of us.
after I called the vet.....my cat comes into bedroom, jumps on bed, got his ears scratched....
he'll eat dry food right now, but not wet---probably cause of his lungs.
I'm hoping and hoping, but, age 20....
but so blessed he can jump on the bed and get his ears scratched
really, you love good (hugs)
(mike, in carbon county)
thanks.
aint it f^&%kn something----and today snowing blizzard, for buses to be ready to quit their runs; I was racing all over hoping to get fish oil to try to help my cat.
in 2001 this same vet maybe grabbed my dying dog by the neck, to carry him to be check....MY PET DEFINATELY CRYING OUT OF SIGHT...with vet coming back with scratches....I was lucky enough to get a neighbor to drive me 15 miles for that dog a couple days later.
I hate going back to this vet---might break down and ask my landlord in next few days to drive me elsewhere.
right now cat seems better, but its off and on days.
MY HOMETOWN VET STINKS.
my cat is ok enough today, but its up and down, so its not fair to him, with me trying to nurse him back, but for how long
and today is a mini-blizzard, though I was ready to bike 3 miles to a pet shop I didn't know of, to get fish oil to try to make him better---I had to turn around; couldn't walk the 3 miles cause the store owner said she ready to close, don't know when.
LOUSY VET!
A few years ago I had to take one of my cats to a different vet because it was an emergency and mine was out of the office. That vet did the same thing, picked my cat up in a very painful way, it broke my heart. I got him out of there as soon as possible, but when I got him back to my vet it was too late.
I guess some don't care so much for the animal, it all becomes a business and money.
I hope the weather clears and you find someone that can help you soon, Much love-
sorry to hear about your cat...what the f*&K is wrong with stupid vets picking up animals by their necks?
now the would-be blizzard is over, here at 1 in afternoon, with sun out like it's summer
tomorrow a 3 mile bike ride, maybe walk, to pet shop for fish oil.
meanwhile, my old cat is staring into space----I feel a lot better myself when he's able to nap.
