Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Over the years of observing it I have found Christianity to be a brainwashing of of it's followers, and what it teaches/brainwashes is in stark contrast to the personal logical conclusions I've made.
According to my belief of God, like Jesus was, He is 100% positive/perfect. According to Christianity though God shuns you if you sin in any way, a 100% positive entity does no such thing.
According to Christianity there is such a thing as the "wrath of God", He is an entity to be feared then, God in my personal opinion threatens us in NO way whatsoever, He is a 100% positive entity.
My suggestion to you is is to enter church with an open mind, in other words do lots of listening, very little talking and, learn, and avoid entering it with a judgmental mind.
I think you just need to not judge yourself by other people's standards...who is to say they have more faith than you. In the end thats really only between you and God. Also I think church is the perfect place to feel sad, because with so many people around spreading positive vibes maybe you can soak up some of the excess.
