Has anyone been on celexa, and had any side effects?

Hi' I'm new here and i would be happy to ansewr your question. For me celexa has bees the best med yet. It also helps with anxiety. As for side effects, they don't seem to as bad. I'm on a pretty low dose right now but I still prefer celexa over the other

I haven't been as sleepy on Celexa compared with Paxil. Paxil made me sleepy all the time and I gained weight on Paxil

i havent actually used celeexa (citalopram) but i have used escitalopram which is a chemically cleaner version of celexa...so it has less side effects....i didnt take this for long as i was diagnosed bipolar....
but i would suggest , if you do have any side effects to switch to escitalopram which is cipralex

I took Celexa for a short time. The only problem I had was some nausea right after I took it, but was nothing serious, It didn't seem to work as well for my depression as Zoloft had, so I went back to Zoloft.

I've been on it in the past and it seemed to work extremely well for anxiety and depression. I didn't notice any side effects from it, of course I was locked up at the time, so it's hard to say if I had any sexual side effects.
