Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
When I get into that head space I try to focus on what I'm doing second to second. Or I try to avoid being in certain scenarios that set me off. But I believe reaching out to someone (even if its just on here) is gonna provide the best outlet for you.
I hope something I or someone else says may help you. Sending big hugs your way and hoping you continue to be strong and find the answers you need.
or therapist who can help you. You say you're afraid to, but it will be
worse if you don't. You're afraid you might hurt yourself, that's enough
to go for a visit to the hospital. Please see a doctor soon. It could save
your life. And keep posting here. We care. Big Hugs
Take it from someone who's attempted...I didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment I did it because I exhausted all the options, even told my mom. And still went through with it. People usually reach out to others before attempting so it's a bit scary...people are unpredictable you never know when or where they're going to just reach their boiling point.
You can talk to me about what's the main problem you are feeling that way and I'll just try to give you my point of view. You just need a friend that knows you are having these thoughts and can help. It might even save your life at the time being. You never know.
My daughter is 19 and just started mental health services of her own volition (choice). The way life is now for Millenials is hard because there is no sense of purpose. The world is polluted and folks seem like they don't care and in college, professors can be arrogant and dating is difficult and all that.........It gets tough.
I would have a friend, a good, solid trustworthy friend stay with you for awhile. When feeling better, brainstorm and think of goals that you want to follow.
In the meantime, artwork always helps.
Good luck to you and keep truckin'
