I am sad that you are having these restless issues. And it is typical to have a clouded mind and heavy heart during such trying times. What contributes to the difficult times is that you have just gone overboard with emotions, which makes it difficult to see the better answers to your problems. Whats good about what you say is that you are speaking out of a very true place which is that of disappointment and hopelessness with people and how you respond to strong problems.
The quickest path to your self-recovery is to introduce you to a wise self within. You know, it is that little voice that brings us back to a balanced emotional state, where you feel more relaxed, content, self-confident and complete. If you stay within self-pity and grief, you will stay very unbalanced and will not develop lasting coping skills.
It appears that you already understand the underlying cause of your problems, so make things interesting for yourself by making a list of those things and start thinking about the opposite, which is what is acceptable for you in order to survive and have peace and joy as you live. Obviously, you cannot fix everyone elses problems while you are working on your own, so dont be tempted to try and do what others say is right for them; work on yourself and your very own important needs, because you have value and deserve to have a good, long, healthy life ahead of you. When others come to you with bothersome problems, speak with a new and different voice. Tell them what you feel is right for you and stand firmly by your convictions. Learn to operate honestly and openly with them. If you give them your power it will only cause things to appear worse. So, do what makes you feel good and happier no matter what others feel.
I know that this is a lot for you to think about, but it really is time for a changeover to a safer attitude as you face those difficult and trying moments. I hope the best for you!

When I'm avoiding stalkers I usually just turn the phone on mute and find a good program to get into which is probably your only option in the hopspital. Check the phone on an hourly basis or whatever works for you but try not to let it bring you down. Just do what you can and then move on.
Let those taking care of you know what the deal is and how your coping and let them help you .
