2 weeks ago, I was in the same exact place you are right now. I KNOW how hard it is, hang in there.

I have been in this place ....ended up in hospital and have come back from this dark place ..God has nothing to do with ..ware you find your self ....you have a sickness that ..needs ..to be ...looked after ..just like if you had broken a bone you would not hesitate to go to the hospital and get it fixed ...that is how you must look at your depreshion ...depreshion .robes you of anything good in your life and puts into your life all that is negitive ...and painfull ...and it will continus untill you get the help you need ...it might take time to find the right help for you ....the right doctor ...the right meds at the right dosage .....and ..a very important thing ...that I learned ..while .at my hospital stay was that we need to talk ...I mean we realy need to talk ....everything that has ever hurt us ..hurt our hearts needs to come out ...and the safes place to do that is ..with a councolor or a phicitrist .....and they have heard it all ....and can not talk. about anything you say ...or they will louse there licence ....so it is a safe place .....but talking is .so important ....I know that you can't see ..the light ...or the way out ....but if you hang on and fight I am proff it is three ....I couldent see it Eather ...even thought it was there .....the way out ........they had to give me ect ...because I was going dowen to far to fast ...I was shutting dowen I had stoped talking ..communicating .....ECT saved my life .....I couldent come back by my self ...I needed help ....and I think you need to look for the help that you need to help you see ....the way out ...of this deasese ..........I know this is not what you want to here ..or you can't here it ......anger ..is .a negitive emotion and depreshion is ..what brings to us all kinds ...of negitive emotions ..that is what depreshion is all about ..negitive emotions ...so to fight it we must bring into us positive emotions ...ware ever we can find them no mater how small ...or for how short a time ....darkness can not live in the light ....so don't be angry with God be angry with depreshion ...but God gave us all free will and if you want to be angry with him he gave you that free will to do so ...I am just saying it won't help you ....it won't get you any ware that to keep you right ware you are ..now ......so fight for your self ....it is very good that you are here ..among people who can understand ...you your pain ..your anger ....because ...many of use have been there ....there are many depths of depreshion ....but the answer is thd same ...take in as much positivity ...into your life as posible ...and fight ...talk ..get everything that has hurt you out ...live one day at a time ...and rember you are not alone ......we are all here for you .....I want to say somthing but I don't know how you will take it ......I want to say we will hold the light ...come to us ...let your strugle be our strugle ...lean on us ....take good care of your self ....be kind to your self ...God bless

I get mad at God/higher power a lot. I am angry for being given depression. He could take it away (all suffering as a matter of fact) in a heartbeat. I do not understand this aspect of faith. People will say to me that God is molding me to somehow, someday be of assistance to someone. I just don't get it, yet I do feel the light of a higher power (God) in my heart.

I just wanted to let you know that I know what you are saying. I don't have any good answers. I just identify with you.

I am so tired of trying. Just started new meds but have little faith in them. Nothing seems to help I am broken & cannot be fixed.

He most certainly does. It's hard to hang on after drinking covered up all of the sh*t we refused to deal with. Life was nice the old way and we can only take others word that things will improve but there will be a lot of stuff you'll need to get over and think about. the only thing I've learned is that it will take some time to make reasonable decisions so now is the only good time to doubt any weird thoughts or weird decisions that pop into your head.

There is the old story about a person who is talking to God about being abandoned. God gives them a vision of their footprints and points out that there are two sets. The person finds a point where there are only one set of prints.

God says "That is when I carried you."

I learned long ago that asking God for specifics may be good, but sometimes we ask for what can not or will not be given. (My mother died about a year ago; I would love to ask God to have her back, but that will not happen.) Instead I try to ask for something better: I ask for understanding, and for help to find a better way. I would love to be specific about the help or the better way, but asking in that way has helped me to be more open to the help that he sends my way.

Put all that anger on God. It gets the anger out of you. He can take it and He completely understands. Also, if you're able, physically exercise. It turns that anger into positives, strength, direction and good physical, mental and emotional health.

I like to refer to exercise as praying...in a baptism of sweat. I get on my bicycle and ride 10-15 miles. It really helps!

It's ok to be mad. Don't try to understand depression or place blame on anyone or anything. I will pray for you. Hang in there. The light/good days will come!
