Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

When I quit using I think I cried for a month straight. At meetings....Yup, it was humiliating.
You might want to see a family doctor. Its a place to start.
I am so sorry that you are going through such a difficult time. I cannot imagine the crisis that you are facing. I guess the closest I have been was in 2015 when I had been suffering from excruciating pain for three years. Couldn't sleep at night, couldn't eat. Got to the point where I just wanted to end it all. It was the darkest time in my life and I questioned so many things.
What saved my life was turning to God, reading the Bible, praying and fasting. I know it sounds archaic, but it really worked for me. One of my favorite verses is,
"Listen to my words,
LORD, consider my lament.
Hear my cry for help,
my king and my God,
for to you I pray.
In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly."
Psalm 5: 1-3
Please know that I will pray for you,
God Bless you,
Kevin
