Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
This is very common we get confused and do not have the motivation to prioritise the things we wanted to do.
What I find helpful is to make a to do list and strike the things of I get done.
Don,t beat your-self up over the things you don't get done add them to your list.
There is an old saying in the army;
When you are marching you are not fighting.
Keeping your house locked is a great habit for your personal safety.
Sounds like you want someone to come and help you do things better this is a common feeling when you have been abandoned or deserted. It is not likely
that they are going to be able to do things better they may have a different approach or ideas but you will want things done your way.
This is the effects of our illness they keep us from being focused on things.
Crying can help it is an effective treatment
if you can not do that you can write journals, listen to music and exercise are all effective treatments.
One of these days something will trigger and you will cry when that happens let it all out cry a river if you can.
You are not alone a lot of us feel the same.
as if I can't cry!
I get a notebook and pen and get to myself
I write about everthing that's bothering me
at the time. I include in my writings, how
these problems are making me feel!
Next thing you know, My tears begin to
flow!
