Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Lately it seems like its one bad thing happening after another. First i got into a huge fight with my best friend and we arent friends anymore...then i almost lost my job because of the fight with my friend and now i dont have enough money to pay my bills. I live with my mom and we usually pay half of everything like split down the middle 50/50 but lately shes been taking so much time off of work because of doctor's appointments and just not feeling good that ive had to pay all of our bills and this month i barely have enough to pay all the bills but i dont have anything left over and i dont know what to do. I used to be so good with money, last year i was able to make my tax money last all year but this year i can't catch a break. i have always been the one to have to financially support my mom and myself and someone like i have to take financial responsibility since my dad and i can't take it anymore. I dont have the strength to do anything anymore because i'm emotionally exhausted and i take a second for myself because i have my mom depending on me. and when i do do something for myself i feel like i wont have the money to pay this bill at the end of the month because i did this or my mom needs the money to pay her car insurance. I cant ask my family for help because my mom and my brother have burned that bridge by asking for some much and when i'm in need it's always "why arent you saving for situations like these?" or "you're shit out of luck Amanda, i cant help you" i just dont know what to do. like i dont think i have the money to pay for my cell phone this month because i have to pay rent, lights, and cable bills. and i only work one day this week so that paycheck is gonna be next to nothing.
