Even though I've been doing things right for the past 3 years, the job I'm applying for has access to state records, where the companies I worked for will show up. (It's a job that works somewhat closely with law enforcement is why it's in a state computer) and they want ALL of my work history, meaning even though I was slandered at both companies I use to work for.... I have to explain it.... on top of that I have a job I walked off of besides those 2 that I listed on my resume to fill in a gap.. so now I'll have to stick with that even if I may not get a good reference.

The references for my current job and current references are all good... and I've worked my current job for 3 years. It really bums me out though cause I work in an industry that treats people horribly and has slandered me multiple times. Which really worries me now that I am applying at a University, which may actually be a good place to work.

I'm just bummed out that all this may come up because I'm literally choosing between money to apply for this job or using that money I have for food.. because that's how little money I make and survive on... I have less than $100 in my bank account.. literally... it all just really bums me out. Due to the fact that I've done my job but I've worked at places that purposely slander me and I've been doing good on my current job of 3 years.....

I just feel this is all unfair and it screws it all up because a lot of places dont like it if you say negative things about your previous employers.

I have to vent this somewhere because it really stresses me out and it's unavoidable since it will show up in the computer when they look my job license up....
