I'm new here and need some advice. In December of last year, my oldest daughter attempted suicide by hanging after struggling with self-esteem problems, childhood trauma by her father (ex husband) and subsequent attempt to bury it with alcohol and pills. Praise God she survived ~ a miracle that there was no brain damage!! She spent two months in a psych hospital and is now home and attending out patient treatment - all great things.
I have not been able to deal with it well at all, had to stop my antidepressant in lieu of doxepin for severe skin condition - since then, I have been unable to control my anger, tears and daily worsening cloud of darkness over me.
M entire family except my husband all live on the west coast, we are on the east coast. My heart is aching for my kids and grandkids. Husband is seven months away from retirement (I have several years to go). My options are to relocate back there ALONE or stay here...
Too many seemingly insurmountable issues bombard me every day and I just feel like there is no solution... so, I cry, get mad, swear and generally make like unbearable for the both of us.
Please help!

And that is not working out for you? Obviously, a different tact is needed.
I'm a little confused .. is your oldest daughter on the East or West coast? From your post, only you and your present Husband are on the East coast.
You state your heart aches for your kids/grandkids .. seems like a simple choice is at hand .. Go West or stay there ... (to put it in simple terms).
He retires in seven months .. do I assume you and he could/would go back then????
I will say .. no one can make the decision for you .. but I don't see why you have to be miserable or beat yourself over it. You either want to do one or the other ... can't have it both ways.
Give it some calm, objective thought .. and decide which way you want to go ... if you make a mistake, keep your options open.
