Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
So today is my dead father's birthday. He would have been 38. He died in November 2000 due to head trauma in a car accident. I was born 3 months later. I never got to meet him but I still wish he was here. I grew up with no father figure because both him and my grandfather died while I was young. I hear wonderful stories about my dad and just think about him all the time. Would my life be better if he was here? Would he have been a great father to me? How would he have ended up? Would we get along? I wish I knew all the answers to these questions. I know it may seem silly that I miss a person I have never met, but there is an empty hole inside me hat yearns to know what life would've been like if he was to live. It makes me cry a lot and I try not to think about it, but my mind always goes to him.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
