Hi, I've only just found out that my boyfriend suffers from Bipolar Disorder. We've been together for 6 months and he is the loveliest, sweetest guy I have ever known. I have noticed small changes in him lately, that he doesn't seem to show he cares as much and seems to be burying himself in his work a lot. He said he stopped taking his medication a couple of months ago as he was feeling really happy with me and thought he would be able to cure himself. He's such a talented and creative person and I've told him that I want to be there to help him, but I don't know how I can help at the moment as he has started to feely very low and just wants to be alone. I love him very much and am really worried, he has promised to take his medication again but I don't know how long it will take to start working again or if he will stop taking it again. Any advise would be really appreciated.
