Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Take care.
I am so happy to hear that you have found a place where you feel safe and can express your feelings. There is nothing like having the ability to share your concerns without having a fear of rejection or feeling judged because of either your actions or your thoughts. I think we all want a safe place to talk over our troubles. I hope you have a good friend or family member that you can lean on, too, outside of the social media.
Over the years, I have found my refuge and a great hiding place through prayer. It is now the first place I go with my problems. It takes a lot of faith for me to just place my troubles with the Lord and try not to pick them back up again. It was always easier for me to try and solve them with my friends, or family. I’m trying more and more to put my faith into action.
Do you have a prayer partner? I have a great friend that I can call on for prayer and I really appreciate that friendship. I’ve also found that being involved at church through Bible study or attending weekly services helps make me feel so much better. Do you attend a local church? You are so right--you are not alone! I am sure thinking of you today and hoping that your day was a happy one.
