OK, someone during a music review of my song Clouds just compared me to Jean Michel Jarre, which totally made my day!:

It's a pretty cool song, very relaxing and ambient to listen too, good arrangement, I think the bass drum is a tad too loud though , other than that pretty good mix and production as well, reminds me a bit like Jean Michelle Jeare, good work

Here is another band that I have been compared to (for the song Enoch), except unlike Jarre, they really are an influence:
Coily
Reminscent of Coil in both good ways (interesting, spooky) and bad (a little too reliant on one simple synth sound). However, the bad is definitely tempered by the artist having sense enough to keep it long enough to make it's statement, and not twelve minutes longer. Nice piece.

I grew up on Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, so getting compared to an offshoot of the band is a major thumbs up to me.
I actually got to meet Genesis P-Orridge a few years ago, but under sad circumstances (it was at the memorial to his wife Lady Jaye). I am shown on the DVD of Mr. Alien Brain where they were filming the service.
I also have chatted with David Max. I have no idea if they remember me, but they are two of the nicest individuals I have ever met.
Which reminds me that David Max just released a solo album which is AMAZING!
Later I really liked Love's Secret Domain and Musick to Play in the Dark Vols 1-2.
