I feel..like everything is wrong.
Everything.
Because two of the four that were arrested, although they live no where near me, they were GOOD friends of mine. and the stuff on the news is BULLSHIT what theyre saying about them.
I feel like theyre getting called out, especially because of some of the stuff that was on the news from their myspaces. Stuff that HUNDREDS of people have on their myspaces. Pictures of knives, catastropic quotes. Feelings of unsurity.
Hell, even I have similarities on my webpages at times. But THEY got called out for it.

Punkee, that's what I call my daughter, the media will distort and sensationalize anything to make a story more watchable, to make ratings higher. One of my son's friends helped a female friend hide from her abusive family, and when the media found out, he was charged with kidnapping! None of it stood up legally, but the media twisted every detail for the most impact.
Try to take that into account and support your friends. They need you.

i can't do much to support them because I dont live near them. But honestly, I just can get over the fact that two good friends of mine, that i talk to, help, and whatever, were charged like that. I cant get over that. I cant. Because.. Its just. idk.
Im scared for them. I love them like family. everything in the media is looking down on them, throwing stuff in that looked suspicious. I cant take it. hence "I wanna do some serious damage to myself".
Im not even kidding. I'm so close to just having a go at myself because I CANT take it.

They did the same thing to my son's friends. Brought up everything that normal teenagers do and say and made it seem abnormal and deviant. It was horrible. They were so believable. If I hadn't had my son telling me what really happened, I would have believed them. But they did not win! In court, all their lies and distortions were found out and the truth came out.
Please don't hurt yourself. The media is not worth it.

I dont have anyone to call or talk to because its 2 in the morning. i have nothing.

but it won't help them if you hurt yourself. it will only hurt you. can you try to sleep and relax? when you have rested perhaps you and other friends can speak to the news on their behalf and tell them they are good ppl or something. that would help them more than you doing something to hurt you. i know you are really upset and pissed and scared but you need to try to calm down so you can think of things to actually help or how to get through all this without doing something foolish to yourself.

ok well either way, it would hurt them to know you hurt yourself over this. i am sure there are things you can still do from a state or few away. can you call your news station about it? i am sure it will travel to where they are. can you write to the papers there? are you able to go visit them and help? hun, try to focus on those things instead of doing yourself any harm. none of this is worth hurting yourself and in the long run, that will only make the entire situation worse really.

no, i know how much that hurts. but what i am saying is try to channel that pain and anger into ways to help clear their names. or ways to make this not happen to others. anything other than hurting you.

but i dont know what to do other than to channel it into myself. and camm...anger might not be such a great thing for me to go for.
anger promotes self mutilation..for me, anyway.
