Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Believe the best.
It was something I notice when I was a young mum, and I have noticed it recently at work too. where a certain kind of person will feed negative stories into conversations in order to have something emotionally interesting to offer.
They would tell the stories of how they were put down for buying disposable nappies, or how they were abused for smacking their child at the supermarket when he was being naughty, or how 'all' the people would 'never' do this or 'always' do that.
I used to sit there wondering if I came from a different planet. Sure, every now and again someone does this, but only interspersed with the positive stuff.
I'm not saying you're putting it out, but you're taking it in. This kind of negativisim. Culture of doom. It's not a good thing. Give out positive vibes to the universe and you will get positive vibes back.
You're aware of the political stigma of being a 18 yr old babymama but your sister is going to have her baby within the loving cocoon of her friends and family. they don't see her as a statistic. They see her as a person.
And anyone she meets in the street is going to see her as a person. See what I mean? It's like people can say "I hate the Irish" (or any group) but when they meet them, they're nice. And they love that person.
There's a huge difference between teh chunter you hear, and how people operate in front of each other. Have faith in it.
Like is definitely better without those people in it.
