I REALLY ENJOY THIS SITE!
MY PC IS A WINDOWS XP, SO DONT B SURPROSED IF I SUDDENLY GO OFF LINE.
I M NOT VERY COMPUTER LITERATE 4 AN UPDATED VERSION. ;-[

I strongly suggest you go for a new computer. They are no longer very expensive. XP is no longer supported .. which means it is not as safe as it should be ... from hackers etc.

Well known computer manufacturers are:

Dell
Hewlett Packard
Toshiba
ASUS
Acer
Lenovo

Laptops STARTING at $300
Desktops STARTING at $200 ... no monitor .. use the one you have ... if you have one.

What is going on???? I have Windows XP.. Does that mean I"m in trouble of my computer crashing and losing everything? I am NOT computer literate at all! Thanks for any information. HUgs

What it means is that Microsoft will no longer issue bug fixes for Window/XP. As time passes new versions of software (like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc) will not work on your computer. As more time passes web sites may not work correctly on your computer due to an old browser.

Hang on as long as you can, as long as you like. But at some point you will need to get a new computer.

And like WV says, they are not too expensive.
