i am so freaking frustrated! stupid, stupid demon lady client - i want to vanquish her, perform a exorcism or something!
i design t-shirts at a screen printing company, and i really love my job, but some people make me so mad!
i have been designing t-shirts for a basketball team for a high school across the state for over a month now! this process should only take a week tops!
she originally asks for 3 different designs b/c she wanted different style shirts and was vague about what she wanted. examples were shown to her that she liked, so i spent an entire day created designs similar to the examples.
well, she doesn't like any of them! she then sends a pic of what she does want (she couldn't have done this to begin with?)
so i create a completely new design. then she proceeds to change her t-shirt color 4 times, which in turn means the design needs to be modified b/c of the ink colors.
after 3 weeks of telling me she is going to send me the roster of the basketball player's names, she finally sends them in a Word document separated by grade. so, when i am design the shirt, all i have to do is copy and paste the names. well, she makes a big deal about the names not being in alphabetical order and is just so positive she told me so (she didn't, i save all emails). so i correct that. she then finds a spelling error in one of the names, which is fine as i don't mind to correct it, but she has to point out that she is "sure i sent it to you spelled the correct way." no demon lady, you didn't! i have the original email with the Word document attached - all i did was copy and paste!!! argh!!
then she claims that she told me she wanted a design for the sleeve and doesn't understand why i keep leaving things out that she has told me (i checked, never any mention of a sleeve design). so i create one.... then she is like "oh, never mind. i don't think i want it after all."
i want to forward all previous communication we have had to her and be like, "oh look - all the things you just 'know' you told me.... do you see it here anywhere? no! so quit being a bitch to me b/c you can't get organized. i have about 20 other clients i am dealing with at the same time who are getting neglected b/c you are a know-it-all, needy bitch!"
but, of course i can't do that. normally i want repeat customers, but i really hope she doesn't order from us again! GRRRRR!!!!

i understand one or two revisions, that is normal. but i have never had this many for on shirt before, ever!
if i was freelancing instead of working for a company, i would have canceled the agreement and told her to shove it long ago! lol
