i don't really know what to do anymore. i'm so unhappy with myself and i feel like i don't have a purpose. i reach out to people and make sure everyone else knows their worth and beauty but no one really tells me how important i am to this world. i don't really think i have a any worth and i just want a new start :/

Thank you for sharing. You almost answered you own question. Being there for others is a very noble and important purpose. Their smiles are your reward. You are doing a wonderful service to those around you. Keep up the important and good work. I hope this helps. My apologies, if not. God Bless.

I found just becuz you are there for and encourage others doesn't always mean you'll get it back in return. You have to be your own encourager in life... even if you feel worthless try to point out positive things about yourself as positive self talk.

I know that feeling. There have been times in my life where I've felt like that and believed that about myself. My purpose has been, since the age of 20, to get better and it's my job as well. There are times where I get deeply depressed and, no matter how hard I try, I just can't keep sight of that. I can't keep sight of the fact that I should measure myself, my worth, and my worthiness by the standards of the God of my understanding and nobody elses'-no matter how hard I try! Thank you for posting and I hope, that with this sharing, you find some comfort.

Sorry you are feeling this way. You are an important worthy person who deserves to have a happy life. You are treating others the way you would like to be treated and that is a good thing you are doing. We were all born for a purpose. Have you talked with a therapist or a counselor?
