Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

But being 15 is tough... I remember not having hardly any friends, and just a small group...
I usually felt the same... Like none of them would care if I suddenly wasn't there... And it was probably true.
You have your entire life ahead of you. You can and will meet a lot of new people who will care about you.
If you need to talk to someone, I will listen, let me know
I think sometimes people can sense the sadness in us and they don't know how to respond. If you feel you can't open up to any of them though, you can open up to me. I remember what it was like being young and on the outside. You matter, people will notice and care if you disappear, even if they don't know how to express it.
Try to open yourself with some of them, I've discover that my best friend aldo has depression, and now she understands me, and support me.
Not everybody will understand of course, but those who understood you, will be of great value for you.
You also have great value. And whenever you need someone to talk you can talk to me, or anybody here, because we understand you, and care about you. You're not alone. (belive me, knowing that helps a lot)
