Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If you got rid of theJERK you wouldn't need the pills. He is
totally disrespecting you and you are letting him. Leave him immediately and don't stop at go Try some therapy and tell
them everything. If you have a parent or an older person
you can talk to do that. Do not let this person into your
house or if you are in his GET OUT, No decent man would put
down their girl friend to another JERK Dump the Bastard
and get yourself some help.
"I grabbed a drink, which I always do when I get upset, and 3 different bottles of pills. Seroquel, Risperdal, and Klonopin. All in very high doses. I just sat there listening to them have a good drunken time after both of them verbally attacking me and staring at those bottles" - he is driving you to these desperate and dangeorus measures, and you say that if you killed yourself it wouldnt be his fault it would be yours.!!!!??? well, i think it fucking well WOULD be his fault, he is killing you by treating you so awfully, you sound so depressed and suicidal it is scaring me, and you have to leave him right away.

it is better to be on your own than to be accompanied by assholes. take care, and try to make bettter choices. a guy who puts you thru hell and even lets his ass-buddy do it,drunk or not, is certainly not worth the trouble.
I dont know you but I will add you to my prayers.
*hug*
Is the fighting with your BF common, or only when he drinks?
What you described with the shaking is exactly how I used to get with my panic attacks. Have you been diagnosed as having them? This may not be the case with you, but my panic attacks completely stopped after I gave up drinking. I don't know if it was a reaction with my medication, or if I just have a weakness to alcohol. You may want to try giving up alcohol for a couple of weeks just to see if you feel a difference.
I would also ease away from these two guys. You don't need that sort of bullshit in your life, whether o not they are sober or drinking.
I have been at that exact moment you were in.
Exactly!!!
1. You MUST educate him on bipolar/depression so he understands is not you being a nagging bitch. This is your disorder that is dominating at the present time. It will pass and you will recover eventually, but he needs to know how to deal with you (what you are needing from him) at the moment you are irrational.
You have showed him the real you and that is who he fell in love with. Right?
Now add add alcohol to the mix and things will always get way fucked up!.
My boyfriend used to think I was a whack job. One time after an "episode" I was able to think clearly and rationally I told him how I was feeling and emotions I was experiencing and let him know the best way to deal with me. Generally he is able to just let me be, but when he is drinking anything can happen. I get the hell out of dodge because I know it will end up in drama scene with me playing the leading role..
I don't know anything about your boyfriend. I am guessing he just does not understand this disorder. Obviously if he is unwilling to educate himself and step into your world to experience what you are feeling you'll have to tell him to "make tracks", but give him a chance to understand and try to help instead of hindering you during a crises.
Peace out girl!
