Claire,,, talk to Doc about all this openly. I would not suggest St, Johns (it never worked for me) since you are under a Docters care, let him tweek the dosages... some times less is better than more!

Always tell the Doc the truth even when it hurts or is embarrasing.. else how can he/ she help?

Thank you for your quick replies. Doc visit over, she suggests to half dose for 3 weeks then half again and maintain depending on symptoms.
Interestingly though, I found out that my drenching night sweats are from Celexa not Lyme disease!

Glad you asked your doctor and took her advice. Medications are complex, very personal, potentially 'dangerous', and should be managed ONLY by a qualified doctor.

I would definately talk to your doctor. I have Lyme and have been treated for the last 10 years and I am dtill suffering. I have had it all of my lie and I know that it is too hard to list all of the symptoms and body organs and functions it can affect.
just be honest with your doctor , are you seeing a Lyme Literate doctor? I know that I suffer from depression that comes and goes and can be mild to severe. I am not on anything for it except SAM-E 1200mg per day. That is what my LLMD told me to take for it. It is all natuarl and is something our bodies makes naturally and we just get depelted. Yes I do have a LLMD, for about 3 months now. I'm hopeful that the lyme treatment is going to help the depression too but had not realized the night sweats were probably from Celexa and not Babesia! We'll see, I'm going to start half doses..
