I hope that he does come back into your life again. Perhaps some day you will be in a park on a warm spring day and here somebody playing guitar. You can imagine it is him, and let the sounds warm your soul!

I am sorry to hear about your friend. I am worried about a guy whose screen name is Server. In his last post he basically said goodbye and that he was going to end it. His account is still open but he pretty much stopped posting. . Anyway, it's always hard when people leave.

I'm pretty new to posting on here. Been on here about a month so I have not developed any close relationships with anyone on here as you have. I want to say that I was extremely moved by your post. I will pray for both you and your friend.

I've noticed a few missing friends from my list as well, click on their name, then you go to a page that says this account was closed. No personal message from their before they closed it, nothing. You know, I don't pretend to know all the answers as to why people do things, but I do know this.

Sometimes when people come to DS, they come for help only. I'll make friends with someone because I like them and want to help them. But as soon as they've been helped, they disappear as if not to need us anymore. See, some people don't see this site as a social networking, mearly just a support group.

I prefer to think of this as a social networking support group website. Because, yes we all came here originally to get some help, but I've made a lot of friends here. A lot of truly wonderful people I don't want to give up on. And true friends do not grow on trees, and as such, I do not take people for granted.

Again I don't pretend to know all the answers, but I do know that is the reason why some people leave. I love DS, its the reason why I am still here. I love getting up in the morning and logging into DS with my tablet, and checking on the posts here. I love you all :)

Prayers for your friend. A while ago someone I became fond of on here closed her account as well. I think about her a lot.

I know painedlover and he had it tough! Pain was bad for him! I hope he returns too! New name but when his avitar picture of himself shows you know its him! Hugs thanks for telling me I didnt know he was gone!

It's not easy reaching out to people here. You always take a chance that the person may or may not stay around long enough to get help. Sometimes we fight for other people's lives when they can't fight for their own. And sometimes people just flat out leave just when we have started to think of them as friends. What we do here is not easy, but it's important work that not everyone can do. So just remember how important you are. You may have saved a life today.

That happened to me with a friend were she just closed her account here quickly and in about a week came back and said it was because she was having problems with her account here and needed to deactivate it then open a new one with a new name.
I'll keep our friend in my prayers and still hope that he was only having trouble with his account as well and will be back sooner than expected.
