Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm not sure how I can help, since I don't suffer with any of these, but I do feel for you!
Have you posted this in the Epilepsy community? Maybe someone there can offer more help for you.
Hope you find the answers you're seeking! Here's a hug for you, and hope you feel better!

When it comes to feeling like a failure, oh yes, I do often feel like that. To make matters worse, I'm a perfectionist, so I feel like a failure even if I have done a decent job of something!
I may not suffer with too many health problems (thankfully), but I do have very bad knees. When my 17 year old nephew wanted to go skiing over the holidays, I wanted to go with him sooo bad, but I knew my knees wouldn't hold up, so he ended up having to go alone -his 1st time skiing! If not for my bad knees, I could have been a great coach for him, since I have skied in the past. Oh well...
Hope you feel better, and know that you are NOT a failure!!
I feel like a failure w my kids. My 27 yo son is an alcoholic & cant keep a job, my 25 yo married daughter looks down on me cuz i dont have skills. Shes a go getter. My 14 yo daughter is not doing well in school & have probs w her. I passed this damn disease called depression on to her. My 12 yo daughter has a learning disability but she is doing real good now. She is also a very good artist.
Im a lousy housekeeper. I hate getting outta the house to go shopping, i hate shopping.
So u see, u r not the only 1 who feel like a failure.
big hugs
Cathy
