Does anyone think they will be taking medications for the rest of their life? I hope not for me but sometimes I think I might be taking the medication forever.

If i have to stay on medication for the rest of my life but it means i will never go through another really bad depression then I\'ll do it!

I want to get well and stay well. Whatever it takes.

Oh honey, speak to your doc when that day comes. I\'m sure one way or another you\'ll be able to have a baby. I\'ve got two kids already so i never thought about this being an issue for anyone. Sorry. x

I want to have a healthy baby in the next five years. I don\'t the medications to affect the baby.

I\' ve been on meds forever, but I didn\'t start taking them until after I gave birth.. So, I never thought about the effects on children. I hope your doctor can give you the information that you need.

To answer your question - yes, right now I believe I will take meds for life unless my doctor decides to take me off of them. I follow his advice - the man saved my life & have been seeing him for over 6 yrs.

I started taking the meds at age 43 so I already had my girls.

Check with your doctor but the women I know that try to get pregnant go off their meds during their pregnancies.
