About a week ago my boyfriend and I broke up. It was my decision but for good reason. I found out he was married, apparently going through a divorce. He lied about it and I gave him a chance afterwards because I think everyone deserves a second chance. About a week before we broke up he became really mean, he told me I was emotionally abusive because I chose when to see him. Obviously knowing this wasnt even the definition of emotional abuse I didn't take it too personal. Thpugh it did sting a bit at first. No one wants to hear that.
I also was almost certain he was messing around with someone behind my back. But always told me he thought I was being "sketchy"even though I didn't ever do anything like that
So I guess the point of this rant is that after I feel a lot better, no more controlling boyfriend. But I also feel...well kind of worthless. He's the first guy I trusted enough to date since my ex who really tore me up. I felt safe with him, like I could really see a future with him. It sucks to have so much hope and gave it taken from you. I also feel somewhat guilty for breaking up with him, because I don't want him to hurt. But I know it was right to do. End rant

Good for you for ending that relationship. Take some time to heal and feel good about yourself again. Then when you are ready to date again you will know. There are good men out there who will treat you right and you will find the right one. Hugs to you.

I agree that in time you will meet the right person. They won't be married; they won't say things about you that aren't true. and you won't have to give him a second chance because he wil get it right the first time.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ
