Hello I am 26 and have a 1 in a half year old son. I've been married for 2 years and got married 5 months into the relationship and pregnant 2 months in to the relationship. He started getting fed up with things and left me twice and the 2nd time he left for good with his stuff. We lost our apartment a few months back so we were staying at my sisters where he rly didn't wanna be. I never got full on answers just what he told other people. I tried to let him be but then he called about our son but still didn't want to be together so I gave in and messaged him saying how lost I was and would do anything to make us work. So he ended up telling me to come to his grandpas where he was now living and that's where I've been for 3 days now. The problem is now even tho we are technically together all he ever wants to do is go fishing with his uncle and brother he went over night fishing on the weekend and again for 5-6 hours with his uncle the next day. I hate being left here with our son while he does that. He told everyone he got fed up with everything cuz he loves to fish and wants to be with his family and I never do and things build up. So now that's all he cares to do and even tho I'm here I feel lost :( I think it's more so the depression kicking in I don't like being at the house whether it was my sisters or here at his families house it's like a part of me is missing and I don't know how to fix this. Any advice would be appreciated

I am sure there are two sides to every story, but from what I read, this guy is a total and hopeless failure.

I strongly suggest a consultation with a divorce lawyer .. with the topic being abandonment (except that would have better applied earlier on).

You are stuck at HIS Grandfather's house ... you have NO support, and are responsible for a young child. Your situation is not good mainly because you are isolated.

Now ... if someone came and 'rescued' you and your child, YOU could be liable for abandonment ... so be very careful how you go about fixing your situation. You may need legal advice FIRST.

Wow! That's a tough situation Especially with a little one mixed up right in the middle of everything. Sounds like his priorites aren't really straight if all he wants to do is fish. Divorce might definitely be an option but its a really expensive option. For your sanity I would first say take you and the little one and go back to where you are going to get the most support. I'm not sure if that's at your sister's house. But if its there...definitely go back there first. Then figure out your next move. I mean you are responisble first for the well being of your child and yourself. . If you aren't getting taken care of at his house

Yes I can see how a large part of you feels like it's missing. My children's father wanted to be married and single at the same time, therefore I spent a lot of time alone and so did my boys, without their father. He sounds like a selfish man that only has his best interest in mind and to hell with what it's doing to his family. You deserve a better life than that and so do your children. Take action and put you and your children first. If he wants to go fishing and play with the boys, then let him go for it, but he needs to stop making you live a lonely existence because he is selfish. You deserve so much better and so do your children. Hugs GB

I am sorry but I have to agree with a lot of what has been said here ......but you seam to want it to work ..bug you can't make it work by your self ....if he isent part of the solution than he is a part of the problem .....you said your dreshion is starting up ..I think it is a lottle more than starting up ..............i think what I would do ...now I am not sure how it is there but in Canada ....if there is concern of a break up you want to make sure you have coustody ......my first h tryed to steel our son ...I was just lucky to get him back .....so I would see if he was willing to ..cut his fishing Dowen in half so had could spend time with you and your child .......if he won't .....you know how this is affecting you ...it isent going to stop affecting you that way ...so I would move back to your family with the baby ..and tell him you hope he will come and spend time with you and the baby ..that you just weren't comfortable being at his grandfathers alone so much .......and see ware it goes ......how many years do you want to go on being depresed ...you have to think about that ...I wish that every thing works out for the best for you what ever you decide .......you are number 1 your child is number 2 ......and he can be there if he ..wants to be if not he doesent know what he is missing out on .....take very good care ov you and your baby ...I will keep you both in my prayers ....God bless
