I am stressing out I had to get a CT done and found out I have an ovarian cyst as well as what appears to be a kidney cyst. My doctor told me its up to me if I want to run more tests. Apparently the one on my kidney has been there since 2011 and no one told me. I have severe depression and this is just got me super anxious and worried. I dont know what to do and would really like some advice. My doctor is really good about understanding how I am which is nice to finally have found a primary doc who takes the time to listen and understand what's going through my mind. I really just don't know if I should get the other tests run so I have a solid answer or if I just try to drop it. I just feel so alone and like no one really cares. I am super depressed with all the medical stuff going on please help.

If I were you, I would tell him "I am not qualified to make those decisions. What exactly is your advice on the matter'. Answers to such questions should only come from a medical professional.
I also would advise you to NOT worry too much about this. Cysts are 'no big thing' .... GENERALLY speaking.

Welcome to DS. Allow me to inform you these group is form but many great and wonderful people that will listen and try to do their best to be behind you.
As you know ovarian cyst are to put it in a very simplistic way, like blister filled by fluid. It seems that cysts are a common biological development. I agree with Wandering Vet as what you should do with your MD.
You should also get a clear path to proceed regarding your kidney cyst. I believe there ate two types. One of them is nothing to worry about. The second one don't worry but also get a clear firm answer from your provider.
So don't procrastinate and get your questions answer.
