I need help..
I've let this go on far too long. (Depression)
Started Wellbutrin yesterday morning. Went to work, was sobbing, raging, angry, confused.. emotions repeated like this every few minutes to every few hours.
I don't know what is going on. Is this normal to be starting an antidepressant? Today I felt the same except for the sadness/sobbing. I'm worried I wont be able to control this rage inside for long. have an uncomfortable urge to walk or run around briskly. I'm at work-this is not possible.
Do I have to wait this out? I've left messages at a counseling place, and I'm not sure if my Dr could see me.

It's great that you got the help you needed for most it's the hardest part(for me it was the lowest point) because in this country it's still sort of a taboo or most just don't know how to get help properly. And yes sometimes when starting an antidepressant things can be kind of rough as your body/brain is getting used to it, so try you best to hold on, it'll get better. Just try to distract yourself with a hobby(music may be good). And you definitely need to talk about your problems with it's too a pyhchiarcist, you Dr. and even a friend/family member. As muskrattiger said it needs to come out as depression stems mentally and physically. That is a huge part of the healing process. And as for the side effects everyone reacts to things differently. You can research them for your medication specifically to see if the side effects run under your meds. Just try to be positive and take things one day a time and be patient. It'll be alright. :)

Somewhere between week 2 and 3 I could really tell it was working.
Some people cant stay on it because the increase in anxiety doesnrt
subside enough. For me , it helped my depression so much that my anxiety went down. Do some reading on the different manufacturers of the generic. The one made by TEVA pharmaceuticals was found to not be equivalent to the name brand. There are studies that show some of
the generics to be better than others because the time release is more gradual. I take 300 mg XLof the name brand. which I get form Canada Drugs..found that I needed the name brand and insurance wouldn't pay for much.
Ive been using Canada Dugs [that's the name of the company] for over 2 years and never had a problem. Much cheaper than in the U.S. If you decide to use them , you have to have your doc write the prescription and fax it yourself. US docs cant legally
send scripts to Canadian pharmacies. Valeant Pharmaceuticals is the
manufacturer of brand name Wellbutrin and their headquarters is in Quebec Canada .
