Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
And thank you for your service!
all things and all types of things I've ever tried for self-improvement,
self-help, etc - EFT Therapy. It was something that I felt sure was just some silly idea, and could not believe the difference it made in
how I felt, physically and emotionally.
I don't really care at all for the "spin" some people put on it. What I experienced, was a yoga/exercise class with "tapping" as part of the class. Here's a video - but, I believe - it's the physical response, not the chants, etc - you can alter it to suit your needs.
If you try it, I hope it is helpful, and, you really don't have to believe that it works, for it to work.
Sure hope things are better, very soon.

I actually have done yoga for help with myself. Coupled with meditation. Unfortunately I don't bend like I used to so I sat most of the time out. Army takes its toll.
As far as my service goes. Thank you. However. I like to quote 'Blackhawk Down' when told this. "We don't do this job to be heroes. Sometimes it just turns out that way". Believe me. I thank you for your support as much as you thank me. You make me happy.
It has been rough. Like the teeshirts say 'life happens'. That's the point I have reached. Life is more colorful and beautiful once you stop hiding in the darkness of your room of anguish. Its hard, but you can manage it. Its just nice to have others support you and help you up when you stumble. I have a lot of miles to go, but I will run that race with you.
