Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
instead of looking at your unique traits and thinking they're bad, embrace them, nurture them, and show them off
in a field full of white roses, will a girl pick a white one? or the single red one in the middle?
if i knew you better, and knew your "freaky traits" better, i could maybe help you to figure out how to turn them into positives for you... you said youve been on meds, are you seeing a therapist? he/she may be able to help with that
i hope this has made some sense, and helped at least a little
Meds help but they are not happy pills. What makes the pills work in my opinion is the MD. I say this because it took my three psychiatrists to find the one that did the trick. So don't give up and keep trying. You will feel better.
I don't have to tell you that feeling depress.. is uhm, depressing so additional to the meds you have to try very hard to stay above of it.
I know it is bad and it is not easy. I could never say "just do it" because I am the first one to say that it is not easy but we can only try our best.
