Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I haven't seen you here for awhile.. since 'stuff' was upsetting you with your housemates.... and I guess I can say ' I'M SORRY I DIDN'T REACH OUT MORE'..
'cause I am. I see , clearly, that you are in alot of pain.. and it breaks my heart sweetie...... I'm on........ pm me.. or just stay here on the board and talk if you want to.. I won't push. I don't know what prompted this post.
I have known you for a very long time.. and the person you describe is not the friend I know and love.
I am worried. I am, you know I am after reading this. but I don't say that to make you feel bad.. you know that too. I am here for you......... so is everyone else.
Please message me if you want to talk. Love you.
and when i started doing that, lasting change took place
I sense that you beat the hell out of yourself .... and when that develops, you are in for a lifetime of beatings. No happiness, no joy, no self love.
I hope you can (now) stop doing that. You are forgiven .. I am certain of it.
To be human is to be imperfect where the great part is when we see the need for change we then have a choice to make.
We All Have Done Things That We Are Sorry For.
We All Have Made Mistakes.
It's Okay That You're Not "Perfect" .
Please, Honey..... Don't Be So Hard On Yourself.
You Are A Wonderful Friend To Me And Countless Others. :)
And I Love You Very Much :)
(((((((HUGS))))))
1- You're not a user on here. This is a place to get support that you need from others and also a place to give support to others IF you have it to give. Please don't beat yourself up for not providing what you simply just don't have.
2- "A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself." - Jim Morrison
3- It's so easy to look back on our lives and find things we wish we did differently. However, just one thing could change where we are now and who we are.
4- Damn, this one hits me very close to home as I have a daughter myself. I am hard on myself as a parent, my daughter's only parent since her dad passed. As I do feel she got a raw deal with me, I feel that she was given to me from God and He makes no mistakes. We have a disease, just like cancer. We can only do the best we can do, just like every other parent in the world.
5- I'm working on this one too. It's not easy. It takes a long time for mostly everyone I know.
6- "When you know better, you do better." - Maya Angelou
7- I truly believe that most people have done this and continue to. If it helped anyone in any way, I see no harm in that.
8- This one really breaks my heart. You are a child of God. God is the ONLY one who makes no mistakes. He is perfect. None of us feel worthy of His love, but we are made worthy through the blood of Jesus.
9-You're someone who struggles with depression. Depression tells us so many lies. We all have our demons. I don't even know you, but I thought you were worth taking the time to reply to your post. If you were a sorry excuse for a person, you wouldn't admit what you perceive to be negative things on your part. You wouldn't give two shits about what anyone thought of you.
I pray that your depression lifts soon and you will then begin to see the good in you again. God Bless.
" If in living there were no struggles.
Then dying would be too easy. "
PEACE and Much LOVE to you all.
You do a lot of things right, my friend. Whoever/whatever is on your case for all that other stuff, is probably a jerk.
