Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Sorry for my lame analogies.
At some point you will have to accept what happened. By no means do you have to rush into talking to others about it, but you can take little steps towards doing so. Make sure whoever you're talking to understands that you're not comfortable talking about it and that you may want to stop talking about it at any time. As you get more of it out, you may feel a little better to get things off your mind, and may feel inclined to share more.
In any case, do what you feel you must and take your time to get through this. Grieving can be a long process. It's not an event that happens overnight, it takes time.
Take care. *hugs*
