Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Of course, I think depression just makes everything scarier, so I could be completely wrong lol. Just a thought.
I have had some really horrific dreams involving death, etc. Had a dream about someone I dearly love a few years ago and when I woke up I was sobbing and called her to make sure she was ok...she was fine of course, but that dream stayed with me for weeks, and although I couldn't follow her around like you are following your cat (lol) I still had a lot of apprehension about it, which finally faded.

Hugs to you
I think you mean that my dream was telling me I love my cat?
Or maybe I just depend on her for too much emotional support.

I just googled what the death of a loved one means, and it confirmed that I was right about the interpretation of my dream of my bird dying meant. However, what I had in mind about depression being relevant may or may not be the case. What the death of a loved one means is that you need to limit your true feelings or you risk hurting others. Now, if you tell me more about your dream, I might be able to tell you what the event that occurred symbolizes. Or, maybe frankly answering the following question may be enough to tell me what the feeling is. I know it's a personal question. Well, it is for me, but frankly do you have a conscious desire to die? And, was that desire strong before you went to sleep that night?
I can only hope that you don't have any more dreams like this. I too used to have terrible dreams and luckily for us all none of them came true. Your cat getting extra attention is a good indication of how humane and tenderhearted you are. It's a blessing and a curse to be that tenderhearted. I hope in the passing days your feelings of paranoia will lessen on their own. If they don't or if they get worse then talking with your doctor would definitely be a good idea. ((( Many Gentle Hugs ))) to you and your cat.
