I just heard on Dr. Phil that only %5 percent of online applications actually lead to jobs...I was F'ing shocked by this because most applications say "don't call or come in inquiring about his job" ..Apparently we are supposed to ignore them and still call ect,... I just wanted to let people know this because I know there are a lot of unemployed people like me out there. Is it just me, or does finding a job almost seem like a game these days? >:(

Yeah, I think I would apply on-line, but go in and chat with them and try to win them over. Nothing like a face to go with an application.

I feel for you, the job market sucks. Try to remember that in this too you are not alone. I think the unemployment rate is like 10%; it's not really about you, know what I mean?

i didn't think it was a really good way to find a job, i have tried this way. it's really hard and frustrating. i'm unemployed too friend.

for the job that i want it looks like i would have to go to school for my masters in soccial work and still there's no guarantee i'd be hired.

it's hard to live these days.

good luck. especially if you are younger, you have more years ahead of you to search.
